Book Proposal Consultation

A 1-on-1 w/ Raksha Vasudevan

$225 | 45 minutes

A one-on-one consultation on Zoom with Raksha Vasudevan. These consultations are a space for focused, honest, and personalized feedback, and a chance for you to consolidate and build on what you learned in "Writing the Book Proposal" with Raksha herself.

Raksha will review all student work (submitted by the deadline*) in advance of the consultation and deliver feedback verbally during the session. No written feedback will be provided. Participants are welcome to record the session on their own device if desired.

Each consultation is 45 minutes. Manuscripts should be no more than 10,000 words.

Upon signing up, you'll receive a Calendly link so you can sign up for a consultation. A range of dates and times will be offered, all them within the first two weeks of September.

Deadlines & Details

*All pitches and essay drafts need to be uploaded by August 25 for Raksha's review in advance of meeting with you; a link will be provided.

No exceptions for late work will be made. Late students will have to bring their materials to their scheduled Zoom session and ceded time during their session for the teacher to read it.

No refunds for cancelled appointments will be issued. The teacher will provide a voice memo with comprehensive feedback on student work and email it to anyone who misses their scheduled appointment.
