Book Proposal Consultation

A 1-on-1 w/ Aube Rey Lescure

$225 | 45 minutes

A one-on-one consultation on Zoom with Aube Rey Lescure. These consultations are a space for focused, honest, and personalized feedback, and a chance for you to consolidate and build on what you learned in "Writing Autofiction” with Aube herself.

Aube will review all student work (submitted by the deadline*) in advance of the consultation and deliver feedback verbally during the session. No written feedback will be provided. Participants are welcome to record the session on their own device if desired.

Each consultation is 45 minutes. Manuscripts should be no more than 5000 words.

This consultation is for the writer seeking high-level feedback on a piece of fiction or creative nonfiction (memoir, personal essays, hybrid essays). Writers can expect candid, thoughtful, and actionable editorial feedback that pushes their work towards their personal goals.

Upon signing up, you'll receive a Calendly link so you can sign up for a consultation. A range of dates and times will be offered, all within the month of November.

Deadlines & Details

*All manuscript materials need to be uploaded by Monday, November 2nd for Aube’s review in advance of meeting with you; a link will be provided.

No exceptions for late work will be made. Late students will have to bring their manuscript to their scheduled Zoom session and cede time during their session for the teacher to read it.

No refunds for cancelled appointments will be issued. The teacher will provide a voice memo with comprehensive feedback on student work and email it to anyone who misses their scheduled appointment.
